A little preview of what I've been working on. See that pile of plushies? Yea, I've been busy.
Some of them are for sale in fact, and I'm working on making three of the cute little disgruntled bunny you see there ("Le-Le" she's in my Leporidae design series) to be up by next weekend. Pictures shall be soon...
And yes this is my space where I work on sewing for the moment....a small, ridiculously organized space I can't wait till my studio is done O__O
O-O-OH MY GOD. OOOOOOH MY GOD. I think you made my organs twitch. Oh god, I can't even express what I'm trying to say. -wiggles fingers- TEACH ME YOUR WAYS, O GREAT MASTER OF FABRICS.
That machine is not mine actually, it's Dad's and he like doesn't use it .... I don't use it either it just eats up floor space. I find it funny I prefer my 30 year old Kenmore Singer to a practically brand new machine sitting right at my feet.
My brandy new surger is out of view to the right on top of an ironing board. That one I do use.
Lesbian fights woulda been pretty cool, too. -brainstorms- I like Lesbian Rights far better than nights. Because the night only last so long, bby. ;D (Oh god, pleas e kill me) I'm TOTALLY digging the eyes going on the one on the table, are the indents from it made by slicing the fabric to come in on itself, or a certain type of stitch? (Unless you wanna keep your secrets, s'all good, I'm just SO CURIOUS ABOUT IT.)
If you look at the tan fabric under the pink bunny, right by the rainbow sticker it looks sorta like a dragon, head, and you can follow that back into wings and whatnot, but maybe I'm looking into piled fabric too much.
Yeah, mine's been a good ol' machine, but recently it's been nomming on the bobbin thread and making it bunch up and all. I've been able to fix it for the most part by keeping the tail of the threads pulled taught when I begin to stitch, but it's a true love-hate relationship with that thing. I've wanted to throw it through a wall on many, many occasions.
Your workspace is so nice and neat! I ALWAYS demolish my room when I start sewing, so when I start a project, leaving it unfinished is out of the question. I keep my machine on the floor, sit cross legged, and use my right knee to pop the pedal down. Quite fun, but after a few hours stationary, you just wanna roll around. I oculd use my desk, but there's a printer on the floor as well, and I'm always afraid of tripping and dying when I'm by that desk.
Got some unscannable artwork? Own a camera but no scanner? Here's a guide of things to consider in order to effectively take quality photographs of your work. [A tutorial by `fox-orian]
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
